Greetings, fellow travelers in space and time! And gamers; I’m talking to you, specifically, I suppose. For the past few months, I’ve been developing an original mobile video game in Unity 3D. It’s now at a point that I’m ready to let people try it out and play it. The game is called “Hallway Hustle” and here’s how it works.
You’ve just started school. Your goal? Get to your class in 60 seconds or less. In the process, collect lunch money, avoid running into other students (and teachers!), get straight As, and graduate. Repeat until you walk away with a degree from Hallway Hustle University.
Easy, right?
Check your report card regularly by pulling up the clipboard icon, and graduate by clicking the scroll (remember those straight A’s). While you’re at it, try helping out some of those sick kids by picking up med kits when you see them. It’s worth it.
There are ads, and these give you free coins and let you avoid bullies, but all are voluntary and you don’t have to watch any of them. Just click “Play Again” and enjoy the ad-free experience.
The game is available on the Google Play Store and it is free. Yes, I do plan on releasing it to the Apple App Store as well, but that may take a few more days. In the meantime, you should know that not all devices will be able to get it directly from the Play Store, especially if your device isn’t running Android 11 or newer. To that end, I’ve created a build for older devices which you can download and install from Itch.io. You can, of course, just download from there if you don’t want to, or can’t, go through the Google Play Store.
This game is very much in development and I will be adding new features and fixing bugs (assuming there are any, of course) as the days and weeks go on. Please, please, please tell others about the game. Help me get the word out and let’s make Hallway Hustle a mobile gaming sensation!
I did say, “Please,” right? 🙂
