It’s not my usual slot and it’s amazingly short notice but I’ve been asked to appear on the Computer America radio show, tonight at 11:00 PM Eastern time (8:00 PM Pacific). Now, this is a really a tough time for the father of a 16 month old with a penchant for getting up in the middle of the night, but I promise to do my best to stay awake (coffee!). Tonight, we’re going to be talking about Linux desktops for the holidays, getting people to try Linux, Linux as stocking stuffers [ insert appropriate smiley here ], and Linux desktop stuff in general.
I’m also there to answer questions. Yes, this is a live show with live callers so if you want to be on the air, check out the Computer America Website. You can listen to the show on streaming audio or live on local radio stations across the United States who carry the Computer America radio program. To find a station near you or to listen online, click yon link here.
There’s also a Java chat page available so you can take part in the live show and ask questions. Just follow this link to start the chat session. MP3s of the show will be made available soon afterwards. I’ll post those on my Website sometime tomorrow.
