Call for Help . . . the show, that is.

As many of you know, I’ve been doing a couple of shows a month on Call for Help (with Leo Laporte and company) talking about, wait for it, Linux. As I was prepping the segment for the next show I’m taping (taking place on Tuesday), I remembered something Leo said on air at my last taping. He specifically made a point of asking people if they would like to see more Linux content in general and to call with Linux questions — the show is called “Call for Help”, after all.

So, if you would like to see more Linux material on Call for Help, you can send an e-mail to leo@callforhelptv.com and tell him just that; “I want more Linux on the show!” Now, if you really want to have some fun and really be part of the show, visit the following link, fill out the information, and perhaps we’ll see you on the show sometime very soon.

Callers can use a Webcam or simple chat on the telephone. Either works. Anyhow, that’s it for now. I’m going to get back to prepping my segment. I think I’ll do Linux replacements for MS Outlook (Evolution, Kontact, etc).

One more thing . . . Call for Help is available in Canada, in Australia, and in the US, but only on some satellite systems that can pull in the Canadian feeds (so I’m told). The obvious solution is to get the show back on US television. If you are interested, there’s a link for that too.

Thanks, and take care out there.
